The role
We’re currently looking for a TraineeReefer Engineer at our Felixstowe Depot.
The successful candidate will be trained to carry out the daily repairs on all Reefers and gensets. This will include reefer PTI’s.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Comply with all company health and safety policies
- Train to complete PTI’s process on refrigerated containers
- Train to repair all damaged units as quickly as possible for return to service
- Train to set up reefer units for bookings including temperature and vent settings as per instructions from the shipping line
- Train to fit and remove genets from reefer units and complete repairs and servicing as necessary
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a similar role (Gas/Electrical) would be beneficial
- Hands on and enthusiastic
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Flexible attitude to an often-demanding role in an outside environment
- Excellent team player
- Full UK driver’s license
