About the role
To provide high-quality back-office support to the Commercial Team by undertaking a range of technical and administrative tasks. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, in line with CORMAC’s policies, priorities, and relevant national and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and monitor the Commercial Division’s reporting functions, including contract and timesheet management, ensuring timely and accurate updates are provided to the Commercial Director, Commercial Managers, Estimating Manager, and Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
2. Provide proactive support and resolve challenges using innovative and solution-focused approaches.
3. Deliver programming and forecasting analysis to optimise resource allocation and support the timely submission of framework returns and commercial data, using appropriate tracking tools.
4. Serve as the lead for managing administrative processes and controlled documentation within the Commercial Team, with the authority to recommend and implement system improvements where required.
5. Manage and review quality system processes and procedures to ensure audit compliance and take the initiative to propose any new procedures where gaps exist.
6. Maintain strict confidentiality of all business-related information acquired during the course of work.

About you
Candidates will need to have;
7. Educated to NVQ Level (or equivalent), or able to demonstrate substantial experience in a construction or civil engineering-related environment.
8. Experience in a supervisory role within an administrative, technical, or IT capacity in a relevant industry.
9. Proven experience using computer-based management systems and other back-office tools specific to the construction sector.
10. Ability to combine general administrative and construction-specific knowledge to effectively apply both established and emerging technologies.
