ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking someone to take charge of our stock management, working closely with our Warehouse Manager and Accounts Manager to ensure efficient stock control. The successful applicant must be able to provide forecasts and reporting to the SLT.
The role requires assessing and evaluating our cost of acquisition, ensuring processes and pricing are adequate, and offering suggestions for improvement or negotiation.
The position will be based at our head office in Surrey.
RESPONSIBILITIES / SKILLS
· Experience using Sage 200
· Proficiency in working with spreadsheets
· Understanding of CRM systems, ideally Zoho, and ability to integrate their use within the accounts and stock control functions
· Background in bookkeeping/accounts
· Managing stock levels to ensure optimal stock with minimal costs
· Implementing automated stock reordering processes
· Improving the use of batch codes and stock rotation
· Assessing ROI – marketing spend versus sales figures
· Analyzing data and reporting to SLT
· Suggesting process and system improvements
· Liaising with other departments regarding stock levels or issues
· Conducting oneself professionally for the benefit of the business, suppliers, clients, and team members
· Representing our business and brands appropriately
· Willingness to travel for meetings and industry events
· Flexibility to perform tasks outside immediate job scope for the overall benefit
· Exceptional organization, time management, and communication skills
· A keen interest in the beauty and skincare sector is beneficial
