As we continue to expand our presence in the UK and international markets, we are looking for a proactive Electrical Technician to prepare, install, commission, maintain and repair LED lighting, LED display and control systems. The role combines warehouse-based preparation with site-based installation and fault-finding. Strong electrical skills and experience with lighting control systems (DMX preferred) are required. LED display, smart systems and AV experience are advantageous. Warehouse-Based Technical Duties Assemble LED lighting fixtures, drivers, control gear, power supplies and LED display components. Perform electrical wiring, termination, labelling and quality control checks. Configure lighting and control equipment including controllers, interfaces, gateways and processors. Bench test lighting, LED display and control systems. Prepare project kits including cables, fixtures, accessories, documentation and packing. Assist with custom LED lighting and display solutions. Maintain a safe, organised workshop environment. Site-Based Installation & Commissioning Install and terminate lighting circuits, control wiring, LED display systems and containment. Commission architectural lighting, DMX systems, LED displays, smart home and AV infrastructure. Diagnose and rectify electrical and system faults. Carry out maintenance and inspections. Test, verify, and document completed works. Liaise with project teams and clients. Comply with UK electrical safety standards. Technical Support & Documentation Provide on-site and remote technical support. Produce repair procedures, system configurations and maintenance records. Complete project and compliance documentation. Qualifications NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installations or equivalent City & Guilds 2365 and/or AM2/AM2S 18th Edition BS 7671 ECS Card preferred Experience & Skills 2–3 years electrical installation experience Lighting and DMX experience preferred LED display, smart systems, AV advantageous Ability to read electrical drawings Strong fault-finding skills Operational Requirements Combination of workshop-based preparation and on-site electrical installation activities. Site attendance required in line with project requirements. Flexible working hours during installation, commissioning, and fault-rectification phases.
