HLTA - Specialist Provision Location: Disley, Cheshire Salary: £100 - £150 per day (based on 39 working weeks, dependent on experience) Contract: Full-time, Permanent, 39 weeks per year 6 weeks holiday Start Date: September 2025 (or earlier for the right candidate) Simply Education is proud to be working with a specialist provision supporting pupils aged 11-16 with a range of additional needs including Autism, SEMH, ADHD, dyspraxia, dyslexia, and communication/sensory difficulties. The setting delivers a holistic and therapeutic curriculum supported by an on-site clinical team, with access to Outdoor Learning, Performing Arts, and vocational pathways. They are currently seeking a committed and skilled HLTA (Level 4) to join the team and contribute to the pastoral and academic development of learners with complex needs. Key Responsibilities: Support class teachers with planning, delivery, and assessment of lessons Lead small-group and occasional whole-class teaching when required Deliver pastoral interventions and support emotional regulation Assist in behaviour management, safeguarding, and wellbeing initiatives Contribute to EHCP reviews and support plans in collaboration with the wider team Promote independence, engagement, and inclusion in the classroom The Ideal Candidate Will Have: A recognised HLTA qualification (Level 4) or equivalent experience Previous experience in an SEN, SEMH or Alternative Provision setting Excellent communication and behaviour management skills A trauma-informed and low-arousal approach to working with young people A calm, resilient and empathetic manner Why Join This Provision?
