Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Bookkeeping/Admin professional. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles, along with proficiency in various software applications.
Duties
* Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable
* Process invoices and payments in a timely manner
* Perform data entry tasks to ensure up-to-date information in financial systems
* Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements
* Provide administrative support, including filing, typing, and clerical tasks
* Manage office correspondence, including phone calls and emails with professionalism and courtesy
* Organise and maintain office supplies and equipment
* Collaborate with team members to enhance office efficiency
Skills
* Previous office experience is essential for success in this role
* Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Familiarity with QuickBooks for bookkeeping tasks is highly desirable
* Excellent phone etiquette to handle client communications effectively
* Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Accurate typing skills for data entry purposes
* Experience with Google Workspace applications (Docs, Sheets, Drive) is an advantage
* Previous administrative experience will be beneficial
