Qualifications and Requirements

* Excellent organisational skills, effective communication and interpersonal abilities; must be a team player and demonstrate a genuine interest in community work.
* Previous community experience is advantageous; phlebotomy skills are desirable.
* A suitable SVQ is desirable.
* Must be able to travel across the Fife-wide division and provide evening cover as required.
* Be prepared to work within a 24/7 Community Nursing Service, including weekends and public holidays.
* Must become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.

Checks and Eligibility

To work in the United Kingdom, a legal entitlement to work is required. NHS Scotland Boards will check entitlement to work as part of pre-employment checks. Routes include visa types and EU settled/pre-settled status. For more details, see GOV.UK and related guidance. In some cases, sponsorship via UK Skilled Worker/Health & Care Worker visas may be possible, subject to licenced sponsorship, salary thresholds, and job suitability.

It is essential to have (or have the potential to obtain) the appropriate right to work in the UK before submitting an application. A requirement of this post is to become a member of the PVG Scheme prior to appointment.
