We are seeking a Stores Operative to join a growing and fast-paced business based in Horsham. This role plays an important part in ensuring stock accuracy, efficient order fulfilment, and smooth goods-in operations within a structured distribution environment. This position would suit someone who enjoys working in an organised, detail-focused environment where accuracy, traceability, and quality are key. Key Responsibilities Processing goods-in deliveries, checking items against purchase orders and booking stock into the system Maintaining batch and lot traceability records where required Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders accurately Supporting kitting and repackaging of components where necessary Maintaining a well-organised and tidy stores environment Assisting with stock control and inventory accuracy Supporting improvements to stores processes and efficiency Skills & Experience Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or stock control role Strong attention to detail and accuracy Experience using ERP or inventory systems (preferred but not essential) Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook Understanding of traceability or quality control processes would be advantageous Personal Attributes Methodical and organised approach to work Reliable with a strong sense of responsibility Able to work effectively within a small, growing business environment Keen to contribute to continuous improvement and development Whats on Offer Permanent full-time opportunity Salary of £26,000 depending on experience Supportive team environment Opportunity to develop within a growing business
