Overview
Looking for a General Practitioner to join our clinical team in the Primary Care Directorate. This pivotal post contributes to delivering quality and innovative primary care services within an Outstanding Trust and HSJ Trust of the Year. We are a friendly, forward-thinking team with excellent clinical support from our extended clinical team, including ANPs and UCPs. The role is based primarily at Moorcroft Medical Centre / Moss Green Surgery, with cross-coverage across bases within our integrated practice portfolio.
You will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients. Standard clinical sessions and non-patient facing administration time within the session are routinely included. The post offers the opportunity to support under graduate and post graduate placements within our teaching practice.
Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload in a primary care setting and deliver high-quality care to registered and temporary patients.
* Provide standard clinical sessions and administration time for non-patient facing work within sessions.
* Collaborate with the senior clinical team to support the wider practice core clinical workload.
* Work as part of the team to deliver urgent and routine appointments and contribute to a care model that improves patient experience.
* Commit to 6 sessions per week (plus CPD), primarily on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, with cross-cover across Moorcroft Medical Centre / Moss Green Surgery and other bases as needed.
* Engage in weekly protected learning events and CPD opportunities.
Qualifications / Requirements
* General Practitioner seeking a highly motivated and committed candidate.
* Commitment to 6 sessions per week (plus CPD).
* Based at Moorcroft Medical Centre / Moss Green Surgery with cross-cover to other bases within the practice portfolio.
