WSS is a leading Systems Integrator of Safety technology which separates People from Mechanical Handling Equipment in Warehousing, Logistics, Manufacturing and Mass Transit environments. We take our clients on a journey using 3D scanning technology working with them to explore and establish how to improve safety. Our Active and Passive systems electrically and electronically integrate together into our clients’ infrastructures. This role is pivotal in owning and delivering our client projects working with clients, stakeholders, suppliers colleagues in order to deliver projects to specification, on time and to budget.
Location: Office-Based (UK) with National and European Travel
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience. Base, Bonuses, Vehicle, Pension.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, proactive and detail-oriented Contracts Manager to join our dynamic Operations team. You will take full ownership of project delivery from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with health & safety and technical standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage contracts end-to-end, from order receipt to invoicing.
* Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and clients for seamless project execution.
* Oversee procurement and material deliveries to meet project schedules.
* Supervise on-site operations ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
* Provide technical guidance and resolve issues proactively.
* Ensure all contractual obligations are met.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in contracts/project management within construction to include electrical and / or H&S sectors; Fire Protection, Security are example sectors.
* Strong understanding of project lifecycle and budget management.
* Excellent organisational, planning, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate site teams.
* Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.
* Full UK driving licence (nationwide travel required).
Qualifications:
* Electrical Engineering background (qualification or industry experience).
* SMSTS / SSSTS or equivalent site management training.
* IOSH or NEBOSH certification (desirable).
* Knowledge of active safety products and technologies.
