We’re looking for people who are

* At least 18 years old and holding a valid SIA license.
* Punctual, dependable, flexible, and confident.
* SIA Guarding or Door Supervision license holders.
Previous security experience is advantageous, but recent SIA license holders are also encouraged. We provide all necessary training to help you succeed. Our aim is to help you become a valued member of the Carlisle team.

Purpose of the Role
To ensure all visitors at the bus station receive a welcoming, efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly service, promoting the West Yorkshire Combined Authority by providing a safe environment for all.
Varying shift patterns covering days, nights, and weekends (average 42 hours).

Always maintain an enthusiastic demeanor. Be proactive in solving problems before they arise. Work collaboratively with partner service providers to present a unified team. Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, assisting visitors courteously and confidently. Communicate clearly and logically in face-to-face situations. Adhere to safe working practices and company policies. Maintain a high standard of personal presentation.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure standards at the bus stations are met proactively.
* Respond promptly to incidents and issues.
* Prevent acts that cause offence or distress, monitor health and safety.
* Manage issues like buskers, beggars, rough sleepers, and cyclists.
* Provide local transport information to users.
* Build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
* Handle queries and complaints effectively, keeping management informed.
* Maintain a clean and professional uniform.
