Teach Now is excited to be recruiting a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Colindale, Barnet. This is a fantastic part-time, temporary opportunity for an HLTA who enjoys working across EYFS and Primary settings and is keen to play a key role in supporting high-quality teaching and learning.

The Role
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
• Support learning across EYFS and primary year groups
• Work with individuals and small groups to raise attainment
• Assist with planning, preparation, and assessment activities
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
• Holds HLTA status or has substantial experience in a similar role
• Has strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Is confident leading whole-class learning when required
• Demonstrates excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Is flexible, proactive, and works well as part of a team
What’s on Offer
• Daily rate: £100 – £120
• Working hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, term time only
