Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated School Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and supporting the operation of our school-aged immunisation service delivered on-site in schools for children of primary and secondary age, with follow-up clinics within the community.The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. They will also have a valid DBS clearance and right to work in the UK.Main Responsibilities:Support the smooth continuity of service delivery by working collaboratively with the teamTravel daily from base location to schools/clinics using own vehicle, with mileage paidCollect vaccines from base location and deliver to schools/clinics following cold chain guidelinesReturn unused vaccines, equipment, and paperwork to base location after vaccination session has been completedUnderstand pre-requisites of giving an immunisation, contra-indications, aftercare, and relevant advice to give to young people, parents, and carersUnderstand relevant requirements for storage and transport instructions for immunisations, collection, and delivery of vaccinations to siteContribute to identification and immunisation of home-schooled children and those in Pupil Referral UnitsAssist in planning, delivery, and evaluation of health promotion/public health activities related to Childhood Nasal Influenza Immunisation campaignEnsure infection control procedures and identify risks/clinical incidents following policy and informing line manager
