Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
* Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have about our menu items.
* Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to during food preparation and service.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café, including workstations, equipment, and seating areas.
* Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
* Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, using basic maths skills for processing payments.
* Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a café or food service environment is essential.
* Strong understanding of food safety practices is required.
* Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
* Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders effectively.
* A friendly and approachable demeanour with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
