Key Responsibilities
* Own the end-to-end administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of Siemens Teamcenter as the organisation's PLM platform, ensuring it meets the needs of engineering, manufacturing, and programme teams
* Lead the initial setup and deployment of Teamcenter environments including data models, workflows, access controls, and integrations with CAD tools such as NX and analysis programs
* Define and implement PLM governance processes including change management, configuration management, document control, part numbering conventions, and Bill of Materials (BOM) structures
* Work closely with engineering, systems, procurement, and manufacturing stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective PLM configurations and workflows
* Manage Teamcenter upgrades, patches, and environment health, coordinating with IT and Siemens support to minimise disruption to programme activities
* Develop and deliver user training, onboarding materials, and internal documentation to drive adoption across the organisation
* Identify and drive process improvement initiatives, benchmarking PLM maturity against industry best practice and roadmapping future capability development
* Act as the primary point of contact for Teamcenter-related issues, managing support tickets, troubleshooting system problems, and liaising with Siemens as required
* Ensure PLM processes support configuration management and data integrity requirements in line with aerospace regulatory and programme standards
Basic Qualification
* Demonstrable experience administering and configuring Siemens Teamcenter in a production engineering environment
* Strong understanding of PLM concepts including BOM management, engineering change processes, document control, and configuration management
* Experience integrating Teamcenter with CAD platforms, particularly Siemens NX
* Ability to gather and translate business requirements into PLM workflows and system configurations without extensive vendor support
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical users
* Experience developing and delivering PLM training programmes and user documentation
* Familiarity with IT infrastructure relevant to PLM deployments including servers, databases, and network architecture
Desired Experience
* Experience setting up Teamcenter from scratch or leading a migration from a legacy PLM or PDM system
* Background in aerospace, defence, or another high-integrity engineering sector where configuration management and data traceability are critical
* Knowledge of Teamcenter modules such as Manufacturing Process Planner (MPP), Requirements Management, or Simulation Process Management
* Familiarity with integrations between Teamcenter and ERP systems such as SAP
* Experience with Teamcenter customisation using BMIDE, ITK, or SOA APIs
* Understanding of AS9100 or similar quality management standards and their implications for PLM processes
* Experience working in a scaling or startup environment where PLM processes are being established rather than inherited

This role will be based in Glasgow, Scotland and at occasionally there may be requirements to travel to our facilities in Neuenstadt am Kocher, Germany or our test and launch facilities in Shetland.
