SEN Teacher - Tailored Teaching That Transforms Lives
Location: March and surrounding areas
Pay Rate: £30-£35 per hour (PAYE, case dependent)
Working Days: Monday to Friday (Term-Time Only)
Hours: 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM (flexible working available)
Focus: One-to-One Teaching | SEN, SEMH, SEMD, and Medical Needs
About the Role
Are you an experienced educator looking to make a real difference? We're seeking a compassionate and adaptable SEN Teacher to provide one-to-one support to students who need more than a traditional classroom can offer. You'll work with learners facing a range of challenges, helping them build confidence, develop essential skills, and re-engage with education in a way that works for them.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Deliver personalised lessons in core subjects, tailored to each student's learning style and pace
2. Create a calm, structured, and supportive environment that fosters academic and emotional growth
3. Work closely with families to ensure continuity of support and progress
4. Encourage independence, resilience, and a positive attitude toward learning
5. Serve as a consistent, positive role model for students navigating complex needs
What We're Looking For
1. QTS or equivalent (PGCE)
2. Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
3. Strong subject knowledge in Maths, English, and Science (UK curriculum)
4. Experience across Key Stages 1-4
5. Proven ability to support students with SEN, SEMH, and medical needs
6. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
7. Legal right to work in the UK
8. Excellent understanding of safeguarding and child protection
