About This Job
Do you have a passion for languages and inspiring students to communicate in a globalised world? Veritas Education is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic MFL Teacher to join a vibrant school in Wakefield, specialising in teaching French, Spanish, or other modern languages.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging MFL lessons for KS3 and KS4 students, potentially including KS5.
* Teach a dynamic curriculum, focusing on grammar, vocabulary, and conversational skills in your specialist language(s).
* Foster a love for languages and intercultural understanding in your students.
* Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level MFL exams, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
* Promote a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
* Stay up to date with modern teaching methods and language learning technology.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Strong subject knowledge in one or more Modern Foreign Languages (French, Spanish, or other languages), with experience teaching at the secondary level.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
* Passion for language education and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
