Field Service Supervisor Technique Recruitment Solutions are working alongside a global machinery and product manufacturer who have a new opportunity for a Field Service Supervisor to join their team. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant electrical or mechanical qualification and/or previous technical experience with a leadership qualification or experience. This role is predominantly based in Norwich with occasional overseas travel of around 5% Direct Reports: 2 x Senior service Technicians 2 x Field Service Technician 1 x Apprentice Service Technician Key Performance Indicators Leadership and Development of Field Service Team. Contribution to Technical Services objectives in ROW regions as defined in Functional Business Plan KPI’s. Compliance of ROW service provider’s performance to Schedule Maintenance Plan (SMP). Key Accountabilities To ensure that a world class level of service provided in all aspects of field service activities to the UK and other UK supported markets in ROW. Responsible for the management of direct reports; this will include recruitment, appraisals and all employment relations. Efficient and timely contribution to relevant Market Management Group (MMG) activities. Key Duties and Responsibilities * Deployment and optimisation of the Scheduled Maintenance Program (SMP). * Organising training programs for Service Technicians. * Develop visible and accurate UK5 stock reports in E1 for machine and component utilisation. * Manage field returned equipment and liaise with Global Asset Coordinator to filter equipment for disposal and reuse. * Use of E1 for all role related activities such as: Stock transfers, Service work orders, customer details, item enquiries etc. * Collaboration with in-house and field trials of equipment. * Deputise for the Technical Services Manager as required. * Leading and motivation of direct reports. * To abide by all statutory requirements including those relating to health and safety. Qualifications NVQ Level 3 in electrical, mechanical or other appropriate engineering discipline. ILM level 3 in Leadership & Management HNC/D in electrical, mechanical or appropriate engineering discipline.
