Are you proactive, reliable, and committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for children and staff? We are looking for a Site Manager to join our team!
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the school environment is safe, clean, and welcoming for all.
* Maintain high standards in Health & Safety across the school site.
* Organise and maintain all site-related records and documentation.
* Manage and coordinate external contractors and maintenance visits.
* Be a flexible, proactive team member, supporting the smooth running of the school.
* Communicate positively with staff, pupils, and external partners.
Main Duties Include:
* Security of the school buildings and site, including response to out-of-hours alarm callouts.
* Operation and maintenance of heating, lighting, and water systems.
* Undertaking minor repairs and general day-to-day maintenance.
* Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety requirements and checks.
* Supporting school lettings, including evenings and weekends as needed.
* Cleaning designated areas to maintain hygiene standards.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in facilities or site management, particularly within an educational setting (desirable).
* Strong knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and legislation.
* Good organisational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
* A positive and flexible approach to working as part of a school community.
* A practical and hands-on individual who takes pride in their work.
