We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Aftersales Specialist to join our team based in Windlesham, Surrey. The Aftersales Specialist is instrumental in supporting the global spare parts programme to provide a standout service environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Efficiently manage spare part inventories – fulfilling customer orders and internal orders.
* Forecast spare part demand and manage stock levels.
* Define and manage Spare Part pricing (in-conjunction with Finance and the leadership team)
* Perform competitor and market benchmarking activities where applicable.
* Manage global stock, supporting service network as required.
* Support the development and sale of vehicle options and accessories.
* Provide clear reporting against all deliverables.
* Be instrumental in delivering initiatives to improve productivity and efficiency within the department.
* Support the creation of timing plans and business cases for Aftersales related projects and ensure these are delivered within agreed timelines.
* Liaise and work closely with internal and external stakeholders and business units ensuring cross functionality.
* Coordinate and optimize warehousing operations, including packing, picking, and shipping, to ensure efficient order fulfilment and timely deliveries
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Educated to degree level or equivalent is desirable, relevant and proven experience will be considered in lieu.
* Previous experience in Automotive industry is highly desirable.
* Computer literate – Microsoft Office suite.
* Experience working with Bill of Material (BoM) structures
* Knowledge of Project Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems are advantageous.
* Well presented, with professional mannerisms befitting of the Gordon Murray organisation.
* Adaptable, quick thinking, decisive, showing strong initiative and self-determination.
* Strong planning, good follows up skills, meticulous in detail.
* Demonstrates a methodical approach, with track record for task management.
* Good team working habits.
* Flexible approach to working hours.
* Organised, persuasive, resourceful, flexible, ambitious, self-directing, passion for delivering objectives, comfortable challenging existing processes.
* Clear and effective communication skills with internal and external clients
