About Us
The MRC Laboratory of Medical Sciences (LMS) is a biomedical research institute where scientists and clinicians collaborate to advance the understanding of biology and its application to medicine. LMS is one of three directly funded MRC research institutes and enjoys close links with Imperial College London and the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
About the Role
The role provides high quality People administrative support for the end-to-end recruitment process, onboarding and induction of new starters, ensuring employees have everything needed to commence work at LMS. The role promotes fair recruitment processes and ensures immigration and Right to Work queries are promptly resolved, and that employee records are created and carefully maintained.
About You
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a small team in a varied and challenging role. You will have responsibility for providing day-to-day support across all areas of People activities, gaining on-the-job experience within the People and Culture team. The successful applicant will have previous administration and customer service experience with strong attention to detail. You should be able to prioritise and manage a high volume of work to meet deadlines and maintain a flexible and positive attitude. Support and training will be provided.
