ABOUT THE ROLE
Your role as a Senior Care Assistant will focus on supporting the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, creating a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Monitoring the wellbeing of residents, noting any changes affecting care and updating care plans accordingly.
* Participating in person-centred care planning, including implementing, monitoring, and conducting monthly evaluations.
* Supporting residents with their medication needs.
* Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development.
* Serving as a key contact for residents, their families, visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring requests are addressed and concerns escalated.
ABOUT YOU
To succeed, you should embody our values of caring, supportiveness, honesty, respect, and accountability.
Our ideal candidate will:
* Hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
* Have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar care environment.
* Be able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms.
* Have a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
* Be flexible and responsive to a range of responsibilities.
