Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) £40,000-£46,500 Ballymena The Role: As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all electrical, mechanical, and automated systems within a modern, fast-paced food production facility. You will be entrusted with the maintenance, reliability, and performance of critical equipment, supporting continuous production and minimising downtime. Key Responsibilities: Uphold all health, safety, and hygiene requirements in line with company policies and industry regulations Carry out installation, repair, and ongoing maintenance of electrical and/or mechanical production machinery Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults quickly and effectively Complete all scheduled preventative maintenance tasks to the required standard Provide technical support and guidance to all operational departments Maintain site infrastructure to a consistently high standard Identify and implement solutions that enhance machine reliability, performance, and quality Utilise the on-site CMMS to drive efficiency and cost improvements Adhere to all food safety, quality, legal, and environmental policies and procedures Essential Criteria: Time-served Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineer Minimum of 2 years recent experience within an industrial or high-volume production environment Highly self-motivated, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-growing and pressurised setting Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Demonstrable experience in fault-finding and working with electrical control panels Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities If interested in hearing anymore details regarding the role.
