Technical Account Manager, ES - EMEA-SMB

AWS Enterprise Support, Technical Account Managers (TAMs), support our customers’ spirit of innovation across technologies including Compute, Storage, Database, Big Data, Application Services, Networking, Serverless, Deployment, Security, and more. This is not a sales role but an opportunity to be the principal technical advisor and ‘voice of the customer’ to organizations ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 enterprises.
The Role
As a TAM, you will help craft and execute strategies to drive customer adoption and use of AWS services such as EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, IoT, and others. Your technical expertise and customer-facing skills will enable you to effectively represent AWS within a customer’s environment, engaging with senior leadership on incidents, trade-offs, support, and risk management.
You will provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices, proactively maintaining your customers’ AWS environments. Building close relationships will allow you to understand their business and technical challenges, helping them maximize AWS value. This position may require travel of 10% or more.

Minimum Requirements
* Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting in compute, storage, networking, CDN, databases, DevOps, big data, analytics, security, or applications in distributed systems.
* Technical engineering experience.
* Bachelor’s degree.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with AWS or other cloud services.
* Experience as a technical lead in enterprise or customer-facing environments.
