Subject Tutor Location: Nantwich Pay: £30 per hour (salary is dependent on experience and/or qualifications) Start Date: September 2025 Contract Type: Full or Part Time, after school, long-term Vision For Education are working with a local authority team to a appoint subject tutor who is passionate about providing high-quality, subject-specific education on an hourly basis in a 1:1 setting after school. Sessions may be online or face-to-face therefore the ideal candidate will be flexible in their approach and willing to adapt. This is a part-time opportunity but can become full time for the right candidate. Subjects include: • English, • Maths, • Science Requirements The desired Subject Tutor will have: - A teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, B.Ed, TESOL etc.) - A subject specialism (English, maths or science) - Experience of working with KS3 and KS4 pupils, and those pupils with SEND - A passion for the progress of secondary school pupils - An ability to commit to regular tutoring sessions each week - Excellent communication skills - An ability to complete weekly reports of student’s engagement and attendance What we offer As a Subject Tutor, part of our team, you benefit from: Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system.
