Graduating this year and not quite sure what’s next? If you want a role that actually means something, builds your confidence, and pays well while you figure things out, you’re in the right place.
We’re working with schools across the North East and looking for graduates from all subject backgrounds to get stuck into education. No teaching qualification needed, just the right attitude and a willingness to learn.
What could your day look like?
No two days are the same, but you could be:
* Supporting in the classroom as a Graduate Teaching Assistant
* Working 1:1 with pupils as a Learning Support Assistant (SEND)
* Helping students stay on track as a Behaviour Mentor
* Leading lessons as a Cover Supervisor
* Supporting your specialist subject, from Maths to PE and everything in between
Real responsibility. Real experience. Real impact.
Why do graduates love this route?
Because it gives you more than just a job:
* ✔ Paid, hands‑on experience straight away
* ✔ Confidence leading groups and managing behaviour
* ✔ Strong communication and leadership skills
* ✔ A chance to genuinely make a difference
* ✔ A solid stepping stone into teaching, psychology, social care or youth work
* ✔ Flexibility that works around you
Plenty of our grads go on to teacher training, long‑term roles, or permanent positions.
What we’re looking for
You don’t need classroom experience, but you do need to bring:
* Confidence and clear communication
* Reliability and professionalism
* A calm, resilient approach
* A positive attitude
* A genuine interest in working with young people
What you’ll get in return
* £90 – £130 per day (PAYE, no umbrella faff)
* Weekly pay
* Flexible or long‑term placements
* Ongoing training in behaviour, SEND and safeguarding
* A dedicated consultant who’s actually on your side
* Full support from registration through to placement
