About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Programme Manager for one of the world’s leading airline groups to lead a major end-user device rollout across the organisation, epassing both hardware and software upgrades. This is a high-impact, transformational programme across the business and engagement with multiple technical and business stakeholders. This role requires a seasoned leader with a strong delivery focus, excellent stakeholder management skills, and deep experience in transformational IT programmes.
Location: Waterside, London (Hybrid – 2 to 3 days on site per week & rest days from home)
Contract Length: 6–9 months (with strong potential for extension)Rate - Flexible through Umbrella (inside IR35)
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the delivery of a large-scale transformational programme with both technical and business engagement.
2. Manage a portfolio of work including planning, risk management, financial oversight, and team leadership.
3. Drive alignment amongst senior stakeholders with differing perspectives and priorities.
4. Navigate uncertainty and shifting priorities to ensure successful oues.
5. Articulate trade-offs and risks and rmend pragmatic solutions.
6. Prioritise delivery activities to meet programme goals.
7. Set direction, hold teams accountable, and lead a team of 20+ including 2–4 direct reports.
8. Refine and runernance and reporting frameworks aligned with best practices.
9. Ensure alignment with enterprise-wide IT programmes and confidently engage with technical concepts.
10. Bring independent thought and best practice to delivery approaches.
Essential Skills & Experience
11. 6–8 years of experience leading transformational programmes (not just projects).
12. Proven track record of delivering multiple large-scale programmes.
13. Strong leadership and stakeholder management across diverse business areas.
14. Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills.
15. Ability to lead with transformational leadership and drive delivery oues.
Desirable Skills
16. Domain knowledge in modern endpoint management.
17. Experience in large enterprise environments.
18. Aviation industry experience is a bonus.
