Reporting to one of our experienced Pricing Managers, you’ll play an integral role in the managing and development of motor customer prices and develop pricing strategies and business forecasts with a specific focus on Tractor/Agricultural vehicles. You will be actively involved with monitoring and improving the integrity and accuracy of pricing models and you will conduct regular scenario planning and impact assessments of potential pricing actions and presenting to senior stakeholders from across the business. As the street pricing consultant for motor, you will be responsible for planning and achieving key metrics such as premium, conversation rates, retention rates and profitability and also be a people manager to a pricing analyst. You will also work closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including teams such as data, modelling, risk pricing, projects and underwriting. About you A commercially minded and customer oriented professional, you will have extensive experience in working within the General Insurance sector with specific experience in personal lines Insurance Pricing. You will have a proven track record of analysing complex data, drawing conclusions and delivering commercially sound recommendations to a senior audience in order to achieve fair and accurate customer prices. You’ll also be technically proficient with extensive experience in using Radar and SQL. You will also be expected to lead and mentor a small team of junior pricing professionals. Alongside being a proven performer, you’ll ideally possess the following skills and attributes: Ability to effectively present complex information to non-technical audiences Experience building and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships Ability to inspire, encourage and motivate others, as well as assist with their work. Experience working in an analytical pricing role with experience of optimisation or modelling techniques Prior experience with financial planning, running and owning your own account would be seen as an advantage however it’s not an essential requirement.
