We’re looking for a motivated and energetic Recruitment Consultant to join our team at J&L Recruitment. This role is all about developing business — both new and existing — while building lasting relationships with clients and candidates. You’ll need to be a quick thinker and an effective problem solver with a positive, can-do attitude. Confidence is key, especially when chasing leads, building rapport with decision-makers, and finding fast solutions to daily challenges. The role includes both phone-based and face-to-face client interaction, arranging meetings with prospects, and visiting sites when needed. While it’s mostly 8–5, there may be occasional work out of hours to support urgent requirements as part of our service — a company mobile is provided for this. You’ll be working alongside our team to fill temporary roles using our recruitment software and ensuring our high standards are met for both clients and operatives. Our sector is niche, with only around 300 clients UK-wide, so our focus is firmly on quality over quantity.
