Overview
We are seeking two nannies to work together at a wedding at Kin House, near Chippenham, on Saturday 15th November. Our client will provide two nannies for five children aged 2 to 5 years. The nannies should be experienced and ideally have previous experience working at a wedding or event.
Responsibilities
Supervise and care for five children (ages 2–5) in a dedicated children’s room. Provide engaging activities (parents will provide toys; a DVD is available for quiet time). One nanny will stay until midnight to babysit for a family with two children staying at the venue. Fulfil safety and welfare duties during the event and ensure parents can enjoy the celebration.
Requirements
Minimum experience: 4 years in childcare. Paediatric first aid training is required. DBS check (up-to-date, on the update service) and two professional references (one must be current or last employer) are required. Personal insurance is recommended. Driving is not essential.
Details of training/qualifications: Paediatric first aid required; qualifications are not essential. An enhanced DBS registered on the update service, with a 12-hour Paediatric First Aid certificate and two professional referees must be provided. References must be contactable. Registration and right-to-work checks may be conducted in person or via video/digital ID process in certain circumstances.
Job Details
Location: Kington Langley
Days and hours: Saturday 15th November, 3:00pm – 9:00pm (one nanny to stay until midnight). Fixed-term position. Pay: £18 gross per hour. Food provided for nannies and children. The parents will be reachable if necessary, but the aim is for the couple and guests to enjoy the day.
Other notes: There is a dedicated room for the children and use of a DVD to watch films. Parents will provide toys to keep children engaged.
