Line of Service Internal Firm Services Industry/Sector Business Services Specialism Technology Strategy Management Level Senior Associate Job Description & Summary About the role: Legal Operations brings together a multi-disciplinary approach combining knowledge and skills across the legal, regulatory, data, technology and delivery management domains. We deliver successful business outcomes on a range of different types of work at varying scales including; managing large data-led contract remediation engagements, providing legal support on individual contract negotiations and running client outreach and query management helpdesks. This opportunity is in our fast growing team as a Legal Operations Commercial Senior Associate. We are looking for legal-focused professionals who have experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts in a legal and/or corporate environment. What your days will look like: The responsibilities of each role will vary depending on client needs but may include: Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial contracts Following a predefined approach to negotiations Managing escalations of complex cases, ensuring the right SME insight is obtained and cases are brought to a resolution Case and documentation review - analysing legal and other documents to identify key facts, anomalies, etc, for categorisation & checking legal documentation for quality, consistency and content This role is for you if you have: Relevant experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, preferably at an in-house legal department or leading law firm Must possess a degree or international equivalent in a legal subject Proven ability to integrate well into a team and build relationships well with senior stakeholders Proven analytical and sceptical mindset with an ability to develop solutions to technical challenges Self starter and motivated to succeed What you’ll receive from us: No matter where you may be in your career or personal life, our benefits are designed to add value and support, recognising and rewarding you fairly for your contributions.
