About the Role
As a Class 1 Driver, you will:
* Use curtain side and box trailers on single and double deck trailers, to deliver goods to retail stores on assigned routes, which may include Inverness, Perth, Aberdeen or Dundee.
* Ensure all loads are safely and securely fastened using straps, nets, and other securing equipment to prevent movement or damage during transit.
* Manage tail lift deliveries, ensuring safe and efficient unloading at client sites.
* Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
* Maintain regular communication with the transport office to provide updates on delivery progress and respond to any changes or issues in real time.
* Represent the company professionally at every delivery point, ensuring excellent customer service and building strong relationships with store teams.
* Participate in ongoing training and development, including refresher courses and updates on industry regulations, to keep your skills sharp and compliant.
