Role Description
This is a full‑time hybrid role based in Rochester, with flexibility for work‑from‑home arrangements. The Sustainability Consultant will support the delivery of high‑quality energy and sustainability assessments across residential and mixed‑use developments. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of building energy performance, UK Building Regulations, and sustainability compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct SAP and Part L assessments for new and existing dwellings in line with current Building Regulations.
* Produce and verify EPCs, BRUKL reports, and related compliance documentation.
* Support design teams with energy and sustainability advice throughout project stages.
* Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to deliver cost‑effective, low‑carbon design solutions.
* Contribute to sustainability strategies, energy statements, and planning reports.
Qualifications & Experience
* Accredited OCDEA (On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor) certification (essential).
* Proven experience with DSM (Dynamic Simulation Modelling) software such as IESVE or DesignBuilder (desirable).
* Working knowledge of SAP 10, Part L, and associated UK compliance standards.
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Sustainability, Building Services, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
* Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
