This is an excellent opportunity for a childcare law specialist to undertake meaningful and rewarding work within the public sector, supporting the protection and welfare of vulnerable children. Role: Childcare Solicitor Location: Midlands – hybrid Contract: 6 months ongoing Umbrella Rate: £50-£55ph PAYE Inc. Hol. Rate: £44.06 - £48.41ph Key Responsibilities: Conducting advocacy in the Family Court and supporting counsel when required. Managing a varied caseload of childcare matters, including care proceedings, supervision orders, adoption, and related public law proceedings. Drafting and preparing all necessary legal documentation.Requirements: Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or CILEX with strong experience in childcare law. Confident advocate with experience representing clients in court. Strong knowledge of public childcare proceedings and relevant legislation.Benefits: Weekly pay – the rate offered will depend on experience and interview performance.
