Key Responsibilities
* Provide first-line ICT support to staff and students, ensuring smooth operations.
* Maintain IT rooms and equipment, keeping everything up to date.
* Keep software/hardware inventories updated and accurate.
* Manage helpdesk calls and respond independently to IT issues.
* Assist with the evaluation and implementation of new and existing software.
* Develop and maintain recording systems for ICT usage.
* Support staff presentations with technical assistance.
* Commission, maintain, and repair electronic systems and AV equipment in compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
* Conduct portable appliance testing in accordance with health and safety legislation.
* Pursue continuous professional development and share insights with your colleagues.
* Always adhere to trust policies and procedures.
Essential Criteria
* Previous experience as an ICT Technician or in a school environment is preferred.
* Strong organisational and communication skills are a must!
* Minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Maths.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using digital systems.
* Professional, calm, and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
