We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician role at HMP Lewes to join our team. HMP Lewes is a category B male prison. Lewes prison is based near the centre of the historical town of Lewes, which is just a 5 minute walk away.
This site features both a pharmacy and a dispenser, supported by a highly skilled and cohesive team of six. Due to ongoing growth, they are looking to expand the team by adding 6 more technicians, creating a group of 12. The site provides excellent opportunities for L&D, as well as career advancement through ACPT training. A day in the life of a Pharmacy Technician in prisons:
Hours
Monday-Thursday 07:30-17:30 (-30min break)
Friday 07:30-17:00 (-30min break)
Saturday and Sunday 08:00-17:00 (-30min break)
Salary
This position is at a bank rate of £21.76 an hour.
Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
