Stock Assistant

* Job Type: Full-time, Days, Temp to Perm
We are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Operative to join our team in Nantgarw. This role is primarily focused on stock checking, making it ideal for someone who is accurate, organised, and comfortable working with handheld warehouse technology.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Use a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) to scan barcodes, record data, and update stock levels in real time.
* Identify and report any discrepancies, missing items, or stock issues.
* Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
* Support the warehouse team with basic stock movement when required (no picking/packing).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Previous warehouse or stock control experience is preferred.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy when completing stock checks.
* Confident using handheld devices such as PDAs or RF scanners.
* A forklift licence is advantageous but not essential.
