We’re partnering with a well-established organisation based in Hereford (HR4) to find a hands-on, proactive HR Advisor to join their on-site HR team.
This is a confidential opportunity with a business that prides itself on operational excellence and a strong values-led culture. You’ll be working full-time, Monday to Friday, 100% on-site – please note there is no remote or hybrid flexibility for this role.
The Role: This is a broad and varied HR Generalist position suited to someone with practical, on-the-ground HR experience. You’ll be a key point of contact for line managers and employees, supporting across:
* Recruitment and onboarding activities
* Handling day-to-day employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary support
* Advising on HR policies, absence, probation, and performance management
* Supporting leaver processes and contract changes
* Managing HR admin and maintaining HR data systems
* Supporting broader initiatives like training, staff surveys and benefit schemes
You’ll report to the HR Business Partner and collaborate across departments to help drive a supportive, legally compliant and proactive HR environment.
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous hands-on HR experience in an administrative or advisory role
* Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR policies
* Confident supporting managers and employees on sensitive issues
* Strong communication skills – approachable, tactful, and solutions-oriented
* Organised, detail-focused, and discreet
* CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) preferred
* Strong MS Office and HRIS experience desirable
