Kitchen & Air Services ManagerReporting to: Director of OperationsJob Location: Southend Job Salary: £34,000 - £42,000Job Type: Full-Time, PermanentKey Responsibilities:
* Team Leadership & Service Excellence
o Lead and inspire the Kitchen & Air service teams to deliver high-quality, compliant services.
o Ensure all work is planned, resourced, and executed efficiently, meeting KPIs and client expectations.
o Foster a culture of accountability, support, and continuous development.
* Client Relationship Management
o Oversee key contracted accounts, ensuring smooth onboarding and delivery aligned with scope.
o Act as a point of contact for escalations, delivering prompt and effective resolutions.
o Attend and lead client review meetings, strengthening partnerships and identifying growth opportunities.
* Operational Oversight
o Manage workload distribution, identify support needs, and implement process improvements.
o Drive digital transformation initiatives to enhance service delivery and compliance tracking.
o Monitor asset usage and ensure accurate reporting through our digital compliance systems.
* Financial & Commercial Accountability
o Maintain accurate order statuses and estimates to track monthly turnover.
o Approve purchase orders and supplier invoices, ensuring budget adherence and profitability.
o Ensure timely invoicing and minimal work-in-progress in line with financial KPIs.
* Health & Safety Leadership
o Produce method statements and risk assessments as required.
o Champion health and safety compliance across all service activities.
* People Development
o Identify training and recruitment needs, support onboarding and upskilling initiatives.
o Conduct performance reviews and support HR processes as needed.
o Provide cover for colleagues during absences and act as backup for the Legionella Services Manager.
