HGV Workshop Senior Technician – Hull
Overview
Due to continued expansion, we are seeking a HGV Workshop Senior Technician to join our Hull team.
Responsibilities
* Overseeing Technicians, in charge of maintaining stock levels, managing workloads and scheduling quality and compliance documentation ensuring clear communication/team work.
* Perform day to day vehicle/trailer repairs and inspections in the workshop and also at other sites.
* Undertake the maintenance of equipment and ancillary equipment to manufacturers and company standards and procedures.
* Ensure that all relevant administration and documentation are to the correct standard (Service sheets, Job cards, parts) working with the admin team.
* Liaising with the drivers and traffic department to ensure all the vehicle servicing, defects and issues are dealt with straight away.
* A solid understanding of electrical systems, fleet management systems and DVS compliance.
* To be flexible in approach to the role as a whole.
* Assist in the improvement and development of the workshop operation.
* Work and communicate well as part of a small team with all departments.
What We're Looking For
* Fully Qualified LGV workshop Technician who has the desirable skills to progress within our company
* HGV level 3 Min qualification.
* Knowledge of IT, fleet management and Diagnostic Systems.
* Welding and Fabrication Skills.
* Flexible approach to a job as a whole.
* HGV license
Shift pattern
* Monday to Friday 7.00am to 5.00pm / 8.00am to 6.00pm alternative shifts
* Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
* Good rate of pay depending on experience.
