We're looking for a confident and resilient Behaviour & Learning Support Assistant to join a Primary PRU in Ferryhill.
The pupils in this setting need adults who are consistent, calm, and capable of managing challenging behaviour positively and professionally.
Your day might include:
• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis• Managing challenging behaviours• Encouraging engagement with learning• Helping pupils develop social and emotional skills• Being a positive role model
The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience in a PRU, SEND school, youth work, care, coaching, or support work• Excellent communication skills• Strong behaviour management strategies• Plenty of patience and resilience
