We are working with a well-regarded Secondary School in Clacton that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher to join their successful Humanities department. Job Overview: * This school caters for students aged 11-16. * Full-time, Monday - Friday, History Teacher role. * Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated History lessons across KS3-KS4. * Inspire students through topics including British history, world history, conflict, and historical change. * Assess, monitor, and track student progress to support strong attainment. * Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and discussion. * Work collaboratively with the Humanities department and wider school staff. * Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities. * Encourage students to develop analytical thinking, research, and written communication skills.

What we're looking for: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. * Experience teaching History at secondary level (KS3-KS4). * Strong subject knowledge and passion for History. * Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage learners of varying abilities. * Excellent classroom management and organisational skills. * A proactive, positive, and collaborative approach to teaching and learning. * Strong communication and relationship-building skills. * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
