Job Role: Pre-Construction Manager 
 Location: Various locations across the UK (Hybrid) 
 Job Type: Full-time 
 Freelance - Day Rate - Inside I35 paid via Umbrella PAYE 
 
 We are a leading construction firm specializing in delivering innovative and sustainable building solutions for government agencies. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Pre-Construction Manager to lead the development of a significant construction project that includes the creation of new office spaces, laboratories, and mess facilities using modular construction methods. 
 
 Key Responsibilities 
 Project Development: 
 Oversee the pre-construction phase of the project, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project goals. 
 Manage and develop modular construction strategies to optimize efficiency and sustainability. 
 Experience of Modular construction would be an advantage. 
 
 RIBA Stages: 
 Guide the project through all RIBA stages, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. 
 Collaboration: 
 Work closely with the Commercial Manager to appoint a suitable contractor, ensuring all contractual obligations are met. 
 Liaise with stakeholders, including government representatives, to ensure project objectives are achieved. 
 
 Travel: 
 Travel to various project sites across the country as needed to monitor progress and maintain stakeholder engagement. 
 
 Qualifications & Experience 
 Extensive experience in pre-construction management, particularly in modular construction and Modern Methods of Construction (MMC). 
 Proven track record of managing projects through RIBA stages. 
 Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes. 
 Excellent communication and leadership skills. 
 Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 
 Ideally a Chartered construction professional (MCIOB/MRICS etc)
