Overview
Finance Officer - Kingsmead School – John Taylor Multi Academy Trust (JTMAT) partner academy within WMJobs.
Permanent – full time (37 hours per week): Monday – Thursday 8:00am to 4:00pm; Fridays 8:00am to 3:30pm. Term time only (including INSET days) plus 10 additional days to be worked over the academic year during school holiday periods. Start date: as soon as possible.
Salary: Grade 7 (SCP 15 to SCP22) £30,024 - £33,699 per annum pro rata. Actual salary: £27,402 to £30,756 per annum.

Location: Kingsmead School, Cannock, England. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (2013 and 2020). This means some convictions/cautions are protected and do not need to be disclosed to employers. See further details in the posting.
Responsibilities
* Provide effective financial administration within the school and contribute to the maintenance of sound financial systems.
* Organise and deliver financial processes to support school operations in line with Trust policies.
* Collaborate with school leadership and central Trust teams as required to support financial planning and reporting.
Qualifications and Skills
* Extensive knowledge of finance and finance-related processes relevant to a school setting.
* Experience in delivering accurate financial systems, reporting and internal controls.
* Good communication and organisational skills; ability to work as part of a team and with external partners.
