Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support and maintenance for systems, networks, and applications within NPPV Level 3–cleared environments. Assist in system deployment, configuration, patching, and performance monitoring. Ensure compliance with security, data handling, and access control protocols in accordance with Home Office and police standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical incidents and implement service improvements. Maintain documentation and change logs in line with ITIL or equivalent frameworks. Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and integrations as per project needs. Participate in audits, compliance checks, and operational reviews. Required Skills and Experience: Active NPPV Level 3 clearance – essential requirement. 3–6 years of relevant technical experience in one or more of the following domains: Infrastructure / Systems Administration (Windows/Linux) Network and Security Support Cloud Operations (Azure / AWS) Application Support / IT Operations Understanding of information security policies, access management, and secure data handling. Experience working in public sector, police, or government environments preferred. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills. Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management) desirable. Desirable Qualifications: CompTIA Security, CCNA, ITIL Foundation, or equivalent certifications. Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Splunk). Exposure to automation tools (PowerShell, Ansible, etc.). Experience supporting systems with strict compliance and audit controls. Soft Skills: High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure in secure and confidential environments.
