Milk Education are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and nurturing Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school from September on a temporary basis.
This Early Years Teaching Assistant role is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated individual who is passionate about supporting young children during the early stages of their education. The successful Early Years Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher to help create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where children can develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting children within the Early Years setting on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
• Assisting the class teacher with the delivery of engaging learning activities
• Encouraging children’s learning, independence, and confidence
• Supporting children’s social and emotional development
• Helping to maintain a safe, stimulating, and organised classroom environment
• Assisting with classroom preparation and daily routines
The Ideal Candidate Will:
• Have previous experience working with children in an Early Years setting
• Be patient, caring, and enthusiastic
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Be committed to supporting children’s learning and development
• Hold a relevant childcare or education qualification (desirable)
