Role Overview
At Everflow, we use partners to deliver services at site to our customers. The Smart Metering & Site Works Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of supplier-enabled site works, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery in alignment with contract obligations, company standards, regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
You will be a key contact for our suppliers on operational issues, playing a key role in shaping our market engagement across each of our verticals ensuring alignment in approach in each of the industries we are operating in. You will also deputise for the Head of Industry Operations on all market facing activities.
The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and operational management skills to optimize service performance, drive continuous improvement, and ensure customer satisfaction in utility service operations. With the upcoming, large-scale roll out of Smart Metering in the Water Industry, experience with Smart Metering in the utilities industry is highly desirable.
What you'll be doing:
-Team Leadership & Management: Supervise, train, and mentor personnel to ensure high performance of internal team members. Identification and nurturing of talent to support our people's growth and development.
-Smart-Meter Roll Out: Deliver Everflow's Operational response to the Smart-Meter roll out in the Water Industry ensuring that customers receive a consistent, excellent experience across our portfolio.
- Contract Management: Manage and negotiate contracts with key suppliers and partners to ensure excellent services are delivered for Everflow within budgeted spends.
-Communication and Influencing: Ability to represent the business and customer interests in Industry groups with a view to driving positive change in the industries in which we operate.
- Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to assess team efficiency, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions are needed.
-Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including contracted partners, wholesale suppliers, market operators, regulatory agencies to ensure seamless service delivery.
-Process Improvement: Develop and implement strategies for continuous process improvements, leveraging technology and industry best practices.
-Industry Awareness: Keep abreast of updates and changes across the industry verticals in which we are operating, supporting the business to integrate externally initiated change into Everflow Operations.
Experience:
-Experience in managing outsourced site works operations in the utility sector (electric, gas, water, or telecommunications).
-Strong knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements or experience working in a regulated utilities environment.
-Strong commercial understanding with experience in managing and negotiating outsourced provider relationships.
-Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills.
