Main duties of the job
As a Dementia Nurse Specialist, you will support Barchester's memory lane communities and other facilities requiring specialist dementia care. Your responsibilities include reviewing clinical performance, conducting quality assurance visits, analyzing governance data, ensuring regulatory compliance, providing clinical leadership, and developing strong relationships with management and support teams.

Required experience and qualifications
* Registered Nurse (RN) with a current NMC PIN
* At least 5 years of post-registration clinical experience working with people with dementia
* Evidence of ongoing professional development in dementia care
* Understanding of regulatory frameworks and legal issues in dementia care
* Coaching and mentorship experience
* Full UK driving license

Your duties will include reviewing clinical performance, conducting quality assurance, analyzing governance data, supporting regulatory compliance, ensuring dignity and emotional support for residents, adhering to safeguarding policies, integrating current dementia knowledge, developing care projects, providing leadership, supporting staff revalidation, and collaborating with management to improve services.
