Solicitor - IP, Data & Technology - Fully Remote - 3+ Years PQE
Location: Fully Remote
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £50,000 to £65,000 (DOE)
A dynamic, fully remote commercial law practice is seeking an IP, Data & Technology Solicitor with 3+ years' post qualification experience to join its growing Commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity to take a strategic, client facing role within a modern, values driven environment that combines high quality legal work with innovative legal tech development.
The Role
You'll play a key part in shaping and delivering a developing service area, managing a varied caseload of commercial matters involving intellectual property, data protection and technology contracts. Responsibilities include:
* Advising on IP ownership, protection, licensing, trademarks and copyright
* Drafting and negotiating data sharing, data processing, SaaS and wider tech agreements
* Providing commercial advice on website terms, e-commerce and digital services
* Guiding clients on UK GDPR compliance and conducting privacy audits
* Acting as lead lawyer on matters and contributing to internal precedent development
* Collaborating with an in-house automation platform to build scalable legal products
* Supporting thought leadership, marketing initiatives and content creation
* Participating in mentoring and contributing to the growth of the practice
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:
* 3+ years PQE in IP, data protection and technology contracts
* Strong drafting skills and confidence handling a varied caseload independently
* Excellent communication skills and a client focused, solution led approach
* Ability to work autonomously within a supportive remote team structure
* Entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for helping build a developing practice area
* High levels of organisation, professionalism and attention to detail
* Interest in legal tech, automation and scalable product delivery
* Experience with SaaS, AI or regulated technology environments
* Familiarity with automation tools or content systems
* Confidence using case management systems and time recording software
