Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Rossendale:
Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a Level 3 qualified teaching assistant to join a vibrant school near to Rossendale. This is a full time position to start after Easter.
The Role:
* Supporting pupils 1-1 and in small groups
* Maintaining regular communication with the class teacher to monitor progress and EHCPs
* Building rapport with pupils, parents and staff
* Communicating with external agencies
* Type of Work: Temporary
* Full time/Part time: Full time only
* Minimum Rate of Pay: £110 per day, depending on experience
* Hours: 8:30am-4pm, Mon-Fri, Term Time only
* End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
* Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
* Previous experience supporting children with complex needs and PMLD is essential
* Team Teach training is highly desired
ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
